Hastings Saws understands that your great experience is not only about the products you purchase from us, but also about how you're treated and your overall satisfaction.

Let's face it. We want you to be happy so you come back, tell friends and smile - or at least don't frown - when you think about your experience with us. To make sure this is what happens, our return policy is thorough, clear and simple.

Here are the basics:

  • You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for exchange or a full refund.
  • You can return custom carbide tipped band saw blades only if damaged in shipping or defective.
  • If you received a faulty or incorrect item, Hastings Saws will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error:
    • item is incorrect and differs from what you ordered
    • item is defective
    • item is damaged by Hastings Saws or the shipper.

Returns via email

If you need to return an item, simply contact us at info@hastingssaws.com with HASTINGS RETURN in the subject line.

Be sure to include the following:

  1. Original order #.
  2. Item or items you want to return, exchange or replace.
  3. The reason you’re returning the item or items.
  4. What you would like us to do:
    • Refund
    • Store credit
    • Exchange for the correct item
    • Replace a faulty item. 

We will issue a return label via email that you can print and use to ship the item or items back. 

Once we've received, inspected and processed the returned item, we will notify you via e-mail of your exchange, replacement, store credit or refund.

If you would like a refund

You should expect to receive your refund within 4 weeks of sending the return item back. There are many cases in which you'll receive your refund more quickly. This time period represents the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you would like an exchange or store credit, or
you need a replacement

That's just as easy. Once we receive the returned item, it will be reviewed and processed. If the product is in good order, we will proceed with your desired action and send the new product out or issue a store credit. If we're shipping a new product to you the whole process should take 20 days or less.
